SERVING OJAI VALLEY AND VENTURA COUNTY

Inclusive Early Childhood Spaces

The Seeds of Belonging program is a project of inclusion within a mission to address and prevent racism. We support the grownups who work with and care for young children, and we support staff teams and families working together through conversations and reflection on self and identity.  Through this anti-bias, anti-racism work, we aim to create a world where each child is seen, respected and nurtured in their sense of self.

This work is foundational to restorative justice, to bullying-prevention and to supportive, connected communities.

Preschool teachers in the Ojai Valley asked for support for conversations with children about race, skin color and other differences.

And that was only the beginning.

We lean on expert advisors with extensive history in early childhood education, secure attachment, mental health and anti-racism and social justice work.

Their expertise informs how we work.
